Nature is the Supreme Court! The man-made -pathies are merely the junior courts we can move to, seeking temporary solutions. The year of 2019 ended with something unending in 2020. The year which was supposed to be a year of global transformation is falling on the ground as the most 'helpless' year in the modern world.

At a time when humans have lost and the Coronavirus aka Covid -19 has won, age-old questions have emerged again.

The picture in The Telegraph disturbed me a lot. I had seen one such image at the time of Delhi SMOG management when the CM and his deputy were seen 'gifting' a mask to a school student. My question was: Is this a reward to the children and a hint that their life ahead is going to be pathetic. Here it is, not just for the children but for those who used to boast of a 'healthier' life they had lived. All experiences and claims have fallen flat. Man is just a small particle to the outbreak now. The reasons cited and researched are the man-made ones only. We have not thought of the future which has been demanding corrections in our ways of interacting with the planet. This is neither about climate change nor about pollution. But it is certainly about the "IGNORANCE' we have been able to live with.

Certain conspiracy theories have come up suggesting that this war-cry is merely an opportunity to benefit the MARKETS. In any case, one such trend is supposed to be encashed by the market only. People are ending up buying all sorts of precautions they can take. The governments have been forced to close the borders and no one is talking of the stereotyped issues they were engaged in, in the last few decades. The money-makers have always been there, this time it is well in the public because of the information networking all over the globe.

We can say that it is not a man-made and profit-making conspiracy by some nations or industry agents. People are dying in real and the only thing left to us is that we take care of ourselves and others. Being unwell, sick, unhealthy means putting the lives of others under threat. That is what we all had been knowing a lot before this outbreak. But now we all know it like a treatise, a prayer and a rule. Washing hands, keeping the nose covered and not getting engaged in careless behaviour, has always been a part of 'common etiquettes and commonsense' as well.

I have come across some of the sincerely informative videos on youtube. One is from WHO and another is from the Indian Express newspaper. There are plenty made by celebrities. One of these is by the legend Amitabh Bachchan as well. In a Video made in Hindi, one of my mentors and a good soul, Dr Mohit Gupta, a practitioner of Ayurveda has also shared some valuable insights.

It is a sad thing to see the students or anyone expressing pleasure at the declaration of holidays because of Covid attack. I saw a video, that was said to be viral and analysed joyfully by a leading HINDI News Channel. The dancing students who were chanting a JAI of Corona need to be made aware that the life that they have in distant future might not give them a chance to dance anymore. The world, being selfish in all these decades, is in a terrible state, otherwise, closing schools, universities, courts and even small gatherings, was not a thing to happen in this super modern world. While we make memes of the disease and try to make it lightweight baggage on the mind, we must not take our eyes away from our responsibilities towards nature. I wish we are cured, each one of us, in each of the countries in the world. I also wish that we, sensing the forced opportunity, set a Corrective Action and Prevent such unprecedented catastrophic viruses in future. It is the time of crisis. The biggest one perhaps. It will also perish against mankind but the lessons are to be learnt and things to be corrected.

This might not be a completely man-made thing, but it is happening to mankind only. Let's see something true and real. Let's Teach Ourselves NATURE. Not to be indulged in mundane and for-the-sake-of-doing-it, we need to correct our ways and the ways of the world shall get corrected by default.

P.S. Description from the WHO website:

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a new strain that was discovered in 2019 and has not been previously identified in humans.

Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people.  Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.

Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
